The entire process demands both technical expertise and artistic flair, qualities that Alexandra has worked hard to achieve and refine. For her work with life-casting is no mere hobby or passing fad; she studied this and other art-related disciplines at the University of Hertfordshire, graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Character Creation and Technical Effects.

“I believe that each and every child is a precious gift,” says Alexandra. “Unfortunately, the sheer beauty they display so effortlessly as babies and toddlers doesn’t last forever – they grow up! So what better way to preserve such radiant beauty – in real essence – than by life-casting.”
